Who we are
Barbara and Greg founded Dare Be because of their burning desire to lead with impact and heart.
We love what we do and we feel privileged to help so many smart, successful, ambitious and big-hearted individuals and teams.
We work in both English and French.
Barbara Dewast
I am a certified coach (CPCC and PCC), team coach (ORSC trained) and coach trainer. In coaching my approach is holistic using a combination of emotional literacy and action-driven objectives. With experience in business, organizational, career and transition coaching, I like to work with a creative mix of intellectual challenge, humour, energy and reflection. I use a holistic approach, spanning work, life and strategic development topics that encourages my clients to go deeper and think beyond the traditional framework.
I was a solicitor with an International Law firm in the City of London. Later on, I worked with the strategy firms McKinsey, Bain and the Boston Consulting Group helping them with their recruitment. I am trilingual in French, Spanish and English and have lived in Singapore, Germany, France and the UK, with my husband and 3 children.
Outside of my coaching passion, I love to spend time with my family and friends over a never ending French meal and to spin my pottery wheel with my children.
Grégoire Lemaitre
I am inspired by Gandhi’s words: “Live your life as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." I try and honour this maxim… although it is not easy every day!
After graduating from the French business school ESSEC, I led and grew a startup to 100 people in 8 offices around the world. I then became Vice-President in a multinational market research company, in charge of a product line employing more than 700 people.
As I look back at my years as a leader, my real passion was the human side of the enterprise: bringing the team together, making people want to give their best, helping them grow.
Seeing my clients discover their power and use it gives me joy. I love to see them take risks, adopt an attitude of curiosity, all of this in service of attaining their ambition.
Outside of work you will find me with my wife and 3 children, running in nature, immersed in a book or spending quality time with people I love.
